At Biddenham we aim to provide nutritious meals along with a selection of healthy snacks and sweet treats.

We refresh our menus regularly and cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements.

How it works

Canteen Payment System: All our outlets operate on a cashless basis, integrated with ParentPay, our online payment provider. Students can make payments using either biometric authentication (fingerprint) or a 4-digit PIN.

Free School Meals: Each student is allocated a daily meal allowance, which can be redeemed at any outlet during any service time.

Bistro Open Times

Breakfast: 7:15am - 7:55am (Tuesday: 7:15am - 8:45am)

Break: 10:30am - 10:45am (closed on Tuesdays)

Lunch: 12:50pm - 1:25pm

Daily Options: Assorted panini, bacon baps, halal sausage baps, assorted pastries, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, fruit pots, and yogurts.

Tuesday Specials: Cooked breakfast, waffles, assorted pastries, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, fruit pots, and yogurts.

Free Breakfast Option: Available every day to all students, featuring a selection of cereals, porridge, and bagels.

Break Selection - Available at three locations: the Bistro, Quad Pod, and R Block

Hot Snacks: Pizza baguettes, cheese and onion pasties, sausage rolls, and vegetable samosas.

Healthy Options: Fruit pots, fresh fruit, and yogurts.

Sweet Treats: A variety of cakes and biscuits.

Cold Options (Bistro only): A selection of sandwiches, baguettes, and wraps.

Lunch Options: A variety of lunch choices available across the four outlets

Bistro (H Block): Serving a traditional hot meal, such as roast chicken, potatoes, vegetables, and a dessert. The meal deal is priced at £2.70.

Quad Pod: Offering pizza and the daily Quad Pod special. 

Pasta Bar (R Block): Featuring pasta with a choice of three sauces, as well as panini and pizza.

Sandwich Bar (D Block): Providing a selection of baguettes, sandwiches, and wraps.
