Department Overview
Health and Social Care at Biddenham introduces students to the specialist knowledge and skills needed to work in various care settings. Underpinning the qualification is a focus on core values and communicating with individuals so as to maintain their dignity and sense of being valued. Students apply their skills and knowledge to offer appropriate care and support and build positive relationships to meet the needs of those they are working with.

The exam unit is currently sat in year 10, with the option to retake in year 11 if necessary.
Students can also choose to study A Level Health and Social care, and this is taught over a two year course with three exams and four pieces of coursework.
