There are many options to choose from after you finish school. The choices you make will be affected by many things like your financial situation, interests, your attitude to study, your qualifications, job or career you have in mind, the job market, etc. You may prefer to take a gap year to gain experience or to volunteer.

Some options are: university, apprenticeships, school leavers programmes, supported internships, studying abroad, etc.

UCAS

Parents and carers with little or no prior knowledge of higher education can find it hard to understand how best to support their child throughout the UCAS application process.
The UCAS ‘widget’ can assist parents, carers and students to access information about the process, when they need it.

More information is available on the UCAS website,
Specific application information is also available at UCAS Apply.
