Chessington World of Adventures Day Trip Friday 21st June – Year 8

We are really looking forward to our trip to Chessington World of Adventure on 21st June. Please read the information below carefully as it outlines the details of the day.

Itinerary

07.30 – Meet in quad. Register in groups.

07.45 – Depart Biddenham

09.45 – Arrive at Chessington

10.15 – Group 1 & 2 complete Animal Habitats workshop. Group 3&4 explore the animal safari

11.15 – Meet at agreed meeting point (this will be made clear to the students on the day) for lunch

12.15 – Group 3&4 complete Fantastic Forces workshop. Group 1&2 explore animal safari.

13.15 – Meet at agreed meeting point, before we then have time to explore the rides in the park.

14.45 – Meet at agreed meeting point ready to leave the park

16.45 – Estimated time of arrival at Biddenham School, depending on traffic.

What to bring

Students can wear their own clothes, but these must be suitable for the weather and for going on the rides. Student can bring phones at their own risk. If they do, it is important they save some battery for the journey home to inform parents/carers of updated arrival times. Students will also need to bring:

• Packed lunch – If you receive free school meals this will be provided for you, please see separate email from Mrs Browne about ordering this
• Water
• Sun cream (if it is sunny)
• Raincoat (if it is due to rain)
