Educational Trip to Ely Cathedral and Cambridge Central Mosque

We are excited to announce an upcoming educational trip to Ely Cathedral and Cambridge Central Mosque on Monday 10th of June. This trip promises to be an enriching experience for our students, offering them the opportunity to delve into topics pertinent to their GCSE specifications while exploring two significant places of worship. Details of the trip are as follows:

At Ely Cathedral, students will participate in three 45-minute workshops centred around topics relevant to the GCSE specification for Christianity. These workshops will be facilitated by knowledgeable clergy members, providing invaluable insights and opportunities for interactive learning. Additionally, students will have the chance to engage in a Q&A session with the clergy, further deepening their understanding.

Following the workshops at Ely Cathedral, students will embark on a guided tour of the Cambridge Central Mosque, where they will gain insights into Islamic culture and practices.

– Transportation will be provided via coach for the duration of the trip.

– We will depart Biddenham at 7.30am and anticipate returning by 4.00pm, traffic permitting.

– Students are required to bring a packed lunch for the day.

– Students are permitted to wear their own clothes for the trip.

The cost of the trip is £25.00 per student, which covers the expenses associated with transportation and workshop facilitation. Payments should be made via Parentpay at your earliest convenience to secure your child’s place. Please note that there are only 40 spaces available, and these will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage prompt payment to avoid disappointment.
