Dear Parents/Carers,

Year 9 Parents’ Evening Tuesday 23rd January 2024 from 4pm until 8pm

We are pleased to be able to invite you to attend face to face meetings this year at school with your child’s subject teachers. Year 9 Parents’ Evening will be held at school on Tuesday 23rd January 2024. 

The primary purpose of this Parents’ Evening will be to help subject teachers develop a closer working relationship with parents/carers and strengthen the partnership between home and school. Teachers will work with students to identify areas where they are working well and what needs to happen to make good progress during the rest of this academic year. 

This will be the first opportunity to discuss the progress your child is making following the transition to Key Stage 4 and how well they are working following their GCSE option choices in October. You will also be able to meet with your child’s core GCSE teachers for English, Science, Maths, Religious Studies, and get an analysis of how well they have been working in these subjects since September.

You will need to use your child’s preferred first name, preferred surname, and their date of birth. Bookings are now open, and will close at midnight on Monday 22nd January.
