Bedford Choral Society and Bedford Symphony Orchestra Performance
Your child has been selected to participate in a choral performance at Bunyan Meeting House, Mill St, Bedford MK40 3EU with the Bedford Choral Society and Bedford Symphony Orchestra on Saturday 16th December. Our students will be singing a Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten. There is no cost for students to attend this experience.
Students will be required to attend rehearsals at school in A4 on Friday lunchtimes. Students can bring their lunch to the rehearsal. There will be an additional rehearsal after school on Wednesday 13th December until 4.00pm in A4.
On Saturday 16th December, students will arrive at the Bunyan Meeting House, Mill St, Bedford MK40 3EU at 11.15am for a rehearsal before the afternoon concert. Students are to wear full school uniform including:
- Polished, black school shoes (not trainers or boots)
- School trousers or skirt
- White school shirt
- School tie
- School Blazer
- Long hair – tied up
- Stud earrings (not hoops)
- No school jumper (the venue gets very hot under stage lighting).
Students will need to bring with them a packed lunch and a bottle of water.
The concert will start at 3.00pm. It is a public concert and tickets are available via tickets@bedfordchoralsociety.org.uk. The concert will end at 4.15pm and parents and families have been invited for tea and cake afterwards. Students will need to be collected from Bunyan Meeting House, Mill St, Bedford MK40 3EU at 4.30pm or permission will need to be granted for students to make their own way home.
