Year 10 WorkSkills trip to Woburn Safari Park – Tuesday 4th July 2023

I am writing to you to invite your child to a trip to Woburn Safari park, Woburn, Bedfordshire. The day will include a tour around the safari park in the school minibus and then a talk by the staff at 1pm on the different job roles available at the attraction. Students will also see the penguin enclosure, monkey and lemur enclosure.

The aim and purpose of the trip is to link with the current work being studied on careers and as a reward for working hard for the event.

The cost of entry is £8.99 but money for food and drink at other times will be required or students can bring a packed lunch.

If your child receives free school meals then there will be no charge for this trip and they will be able to collect a free lunch on the morning from the school kitchen.

We will assemble in N3 at 8.25am, departing at 8.30am and will return to school by 3.00pm. The students will need to bring their mobile phones to contact you if the journey is held up.

We will, of course, expect excellent behaviour throughout the trip. Please log into your ParentPay account to make payment and to give parental consent.
