Year 11 History students Workshop – Tuesday 25th January 2022

11th January 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to inform you that we have an exciting opportunity for the Year 11 History students to experience a workshop with Frontline Living History https://www.frontlinelivinghistory.com/) on Tuesday 25 January.  The workshop will focus on Medicine during the First World War and this will help our students with their exam knowledge while also providing them with a fun opportunity to reinforce their learning in the classroom.

This workshop will run from 8.30am – 12.30pm.  The students will need to be in earlier than usual on a Tuesday.  There will be a short break in the morning and the session will take place in the main hall.  Students will be socially distanced from one another and from those running the workshop.

Students are expected to attend the workshop in school uniform as they will be going onto period 4 and 5 as normal.

The cost for the workshop is £5 as we are subsidising the rest of the cost to ensure that all Year 11 GCSE History students can take part.  Payments are to be made via ParentPay.

Should we have a dramatic increase in Covid cases at the school we will need to reschedule the session.

If you have any further questions please email me.

Yours Sincerely

Ree Ann Vaughan
