Year 12 students visit Pembroke College

Friday, 22 January 2016

A group of Year 12 students visited Pembroke College, Cambridge as part of a programme designed to offer high achieving students the opportunity to explore the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and other Russell Group universities. The aspiration day provided the students with an insight into the application process as well as life as a Cambridge undergraduate; students discussed example timetables, toured the College and experienced lunch in the College canteen. However the highlight of the day was a lesson in the Museum of Classical Archaeology, one of the University of Cambridge's teaching museums, where the students and teachers learned about ancient Greek sculpture and architecture - a fascinating session!
