Another successful Bamberg Exchange visit

We have recently had students visit the school from our partner school in Bamberg, the Clavius Gymnasium.  Several of the students were back at Biddenham for their second visit and it has been great to see the friendships which have been established between our students and theirs.

The group spent several days in lessons at Biddenham and also had days out with their host families and a visit to Cambridge.  We hope they had a great experience in Bedford and we are very much looking forward to our return visit to Bamberg in July.

Anna Durr, exchange student wrote " We had an amazing time.  On Sunday we went sightseeing in London and I watched a real rugby game.  For the rest of the week we visited the Mayor of Bedford in his parlour, visited Cambridge, went shopping and ice skating.  We experienced very different lessons to the lessons in Germany.  We learned lots of new words and tasted so much really delicious food, in my case fish and chips, Indian curry and pie !  It was great to be here and experience the British life as well as a British school and I am really looking forward to hopefully coming back again next year".
